Using the Screen Saver Control 1.6 program, you can control and manage the timely actions of both your screen saver application and your monitor's power off settings. Its Window's style interface displays the command buttons you require in a toolbar for ease of use just beneath the menu bar, and all commands can be accessed from taskbar icons when the main interface is closed. This enables you to launch your screen saver, or power off your monitor immediately, and at the times you need to, say for the sake of confidentiality or if you are called away from your desk. Deactivating your screen saver requires just a simple click to return to your desktop. Beneath the command menu toolbar, several options are available to you to control the settings of your screen saver and monitor power off. The options displayed for your screen saver allow you to set it as active or inactive; to set your screen saver timeout, and there is a check box option you can tick to allow you to input the hot keys of your choice for launching your screen saver. For controlling you monitor's power off settings, the interface presents you with the options to activate or deactivate monitor power, or to set your power off timeout, and here too; you can tick a check box and insert the hot keys of your choice for powering off your monitor. |
